Our staff will get a chance to talk to you and see if you are having any trouble with your pet.
We will also go over diet, preventative medicine, and exercise to ensure that your pet is as healthy as possible.
Then, one of our veterinarians will do a complete physical examination on your pet.
It is always good to have a baseline in case your pet ever becomes ill.
We also want to monitor your pet's weight, ensuring that your pet stays a healthy weight.
It is much easier to start a diet when a pet is a pound overweight instead of fifteen!
Pet insurance pays, partly or in total, for veterinary treatment of the insured person's ill or injured pet.
Some policies will pay out when the pet dies, or if it is lost or stolen.
As veterinary medicine is increasingly employing expensive medical techniques and drugs, and owners have higher expectations for their pet's health care and standard of living than previously, the market for pet insurance has increased.
Pet insurance companies are beginning to offer the pet owner more of an ability to customize their coverage by allowing them to choose their own level of deductible or co-insurance.
We know that emergencies (of any kind) are very stressful for both you, your family, and your pet.
It is our goal to help you in any way that we can.
Our staff is dedicated and well trained to handle emergencies of all types.
One thing that we do ask is that you to do is please call ahead, at (605) 753-0876, so that we are prepared for you when you walk in our doors!
