Services
Pets are like our children - we feed, nurture and lavish attention on them.
We don't want to leave them at home alone for extended periods of time, but sometimes we just can't take them with us.
When situations like this arise in your life; when you simply can't be home for your pet, let East Poplarville Veterinary Clinic be your pet's home away from home.
Our highly qualified kennel attendants provide tender loving care including brushing and cuddling, and dogs are walked multiple times daily.
Dr. Whitney McGregor is a 2020 graduate of the Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine.
She raises Quarter horses and has a special interest in equine medicine.
She was raised on a cattle farm in Arkansas and has always dreamed of being a veterinarian.
Bluebell, Dottie, and Tiny are her miniature dachshunds, better known as her children!
She is excited to be starting her veterinary career at East Poplarville Veterinary Clinic and looks forward to taking care of your four-legged family members.
If you are away from home all day and your pet is home alone, do you find that your pet is showing signs of being lonely, unhappy, or bored?
Why not make every day a happy day for your pet companion?
Bring your pet to daycare at East Poplarville Veterinary Clinic where your loving pet will receive care and attention and have fun throughout the day.
At East Poplarville Veterinary Clinic, we provide a safe and constructive environment for daycare friends to play, exercise, socialize, and receive individual attention.
At East Poplarville Veterinary Clinic, we believe that dental care is a very important part of your pet's overall health.
Annual dental exams and cleaning are encouraged because this preventive care can increase the life span of your pet tremendously.
Many pet owners may not be aware that periodontal disease is the most common dental condition affecting approximately 85% of dogs and cats.
Dental disease begins with bacteria in the mouth.
Without brushing or professional cleaning, the bacteria will harden and form plaque.
All dogs and cats occasionally scratch, which is perfectly normal.
However, when the scratching continues for several days, or the skin and coat begin to suffer, it may indicate they are experiencing an allergic reaction to something in their environment.
Reactions are typically triggered by food allergies, fleas, and substances in their location such as dust, pollen, and grass.
Other causes of itching may be caused by an infestation of tiny mites such as sarcoptic mange (scabies), or demodectic mange (demodex).
