Dr. Lester grew up outside of Cleveland, Ohio.
From a young age, he always had a passion for animals.
Growing up in a family that liked to hunt, he of course would be the one out there trying to save every animal.
Each year, his family would vacation to Maui and it was during those visits that he embraced island life.
He knew that one day he would live in paradise.
He graduated in 2002 and went on to attend The Ohio State University where he received his bachelor's degree in Animal Science.
While in school, he worked for a small animal hospital starting as a kennel assistant and working his way up to becoming a veterinary technician.
