Hannibal Veterinary Clinic was founded and opened by Dr. Tom Dorsey in 1985.
He has been practicing veterinary medicine for over 30 years.
Dr. LeAnn Welch job shadowed at the clinic when she was a senior in high school and after graduating from veterinary school in 2012, she became Dr. Dorsey's associate veterinarian.
In 2015, Dr. Welch purchased the clinic from Dr. Dorsey.
Our mission is the same now as it was back then.

In order to keep your companion healthy, they are required to have yearly vaccinations.
Our appointment times are from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Our office hours for Saturday is 8 a.m. to Noon.
We perform a variety of surgeries, from routine spays and neuters to growth removals, de-claws, ear trims, cystotomies (bladder surgery), orthopedics, and even emergency surgeries including cesarean sections.
If you have a small animal emergency, call the office number and follow the instructions on the voice recording.

Anna was born and raised in Hannibal, MO.
She graduated from HLGU in May of 2017 with a degree in Public Relations and Media Communications.
Anna is currently our full time receptionist.
Anna enjoys photography and spending with her husband, Nick.
In her spare time, Anna can be found spoiling her nieces, nephews, and her precious dogs, Luna and Athena.
Brittany was born and raised in Hannibal, Missouri and graduated from Hannibal High School in 2014.
She has always had an interested in animal care and went straight to technician school right after high school.
