In short, we want your four-legged family members to be excited to see us! You can expect lifelong care for your companion that meets all of their personal healthcare needs, including wellness exams and vaccinations, in-house lab testing, digital X-ray imaging, dental care, surgery, and more. Dr. Matagrano has been a practicing veterinarian since 2006.

She grew up in a pet-friendly household, which helped her cultivate a love for animals. At 14, she started showing her dog in obedience competitions and later raised a puppy for The Seeing Eye, Inc. Dr. Matagrano's enthusiasm for her work is evident in how she cares for every individual patient; she loves doting on your pets and making them feel at home here at our animal hospital.
Services
While keeping your four-legged family member healthy certainly begins with you, you don't have to manage everything on your own.
With the pet wellness exams we provide here in Altamonte Springs, you can stay up to speed with your dog's or cat's treatments and help them stay protected from diseases they might encounter in their lifetime.
Wellness exams are similar to routine checkups for humans--they give Dr. Matagrano the opportunity to "check in" with you and your pet, evaluate their health, and discuss any issues or changes that might have taken place.
Vaccines are a major factor in your pet's healthcare and can provide significant protection against deadly viruses, including rabies and distemper.
Here in Altamonte Springs, FL, we offer a variety of cat and dog vaccinations to protect and support every pet with regard for their unique needs and lifestyle.
We customize every pet's vaccine schedule to suit them, which ensures they stay protected with minimal risk of being over-vaccinated.
If your pet is due for their vaccinations, reach out by calling (407) 862-6892, or request an appointment online.
Dental disease is the most common health problem affecting our four-legged family members, but it doesn't have to be!
While a lack of routine dental care and teeth cleanings can unfortunately lead to tartar buildup and potential infection in the mouth, these and other oral health problems can be prevented.
At Westmonte Animal Clinic, Dr. Matagrano and her staff perform oral health exams and professional cat and dog teeth cleanings on a regular basis.
We know that establishing a dental routine can be challenging, especially if your pet is older and set in their ways.
While it is entirely natural for our dogs and cats to want to mate and have litters, this behavior can result in far too many animals living in shelters and on the streets.
What's more, their hormonal behaviors can cause conflict in the home and pose difficulties for many pet owners, which, sadly, often leads to animals being surrendered to shelters.
Here in Altamonte Springs, we regularly perform spay and neuter surgeries on dogs and cats to effectively (and safely) curb animal overpopulation, and help pets and their families enjoy a more harmonious existence together.
Westmonte Animal Clinic is well-equipped to provide an array of routine and sometimes complex surgeries, from spays and neuters to mass removals and bladder stone removals.
We'll make your pet's comfort and safety our highest priorities, with pre-anesthetic blood work required beforehand to confirm they're healthy and diligent monitoring throughout to keep them in stable condition.
If you have any concerns or reservations about surgery for your pet, please let us know so we can answer your questions and put you at ease.
