Elizabethtown Animal Hospital is proud to serve the Elizabethtown, PA area for everything pet-related. Our veterinary clinic and animal hospital is run by Dr. Janet Distler and Dr. Anna Turley, who are licensed, experienced veterinarians. Our team is committed to educating our clients in how to keep your pets healthy year round, with good nutrition and exercise.

Elizabethtown Animal Hospital stays on top of the latest advances in veterinarian technology and above all, remembers that all animals and pets need to be treated with loving care in every check-up, procedure, or surgery.
Services
Dr. Janet Distler is an avid animal advocate who loves all creatures great and small.
She is a proud graduate of University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Distler is originally from Newton, PA and found herself in Georgia after graduation from Veterinary school.
She previously owned a veterinary practice in Hephzibah, Georgia that she sold when she returned to Pennsylvania.
Dr. Distler has enjoyed serving the community of Elizabethtown since she purchased the practice in May of 2017.
Our appointment book is computerized, which allows us to efficiently make appointments for you and your pet.
Our receptionists and team will attempt to accommodate all requests to the best of our ability.
Emergencies are accepted anytime our clinic is open.
If you feel you have an emergency with your pet, please call us immediately.
Emergency visits do entail a higher office visit cost due to the inconvenience to other clients with previously scheduled appointments.
Our veterinarians will create an individual wellness plan for each individual patient.

Your pet's annual vet check-up will include a total physical exam, with a thorough investigation of your pet's head, body and tail, and all his assorted cavities.
1. Payment is expected when services are rendered.
In order to focus on our patients' needs, customer service and minimizing costs, we do not bill.
2. We accept debit cards, credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express) checks and cash.
All cards must be signed by the owner of the card.
3. When unexpected illness strikes a pet, unexpected expense strikes as well.
Elizabethtown Animal Hospital understands this and is able to make some special arrangements through the CareCredit program.
