We are happy to offer a number of resources that enable you to learn about how to take better care of your pets. Please feel free to browse our site, particularly the informational articles. The best veterinary care for animals is ongoing nutrition and problem prevention, so becoming knowledgeable about preventative pet care is essential to the ongoing success of your animal's health.

If you have any questions, call (410) 752-7122 or email us and we'll promptly get back to you. We also welcome you to subscribe to our newsletter, which is created especially for Baltimore pet owners.
Services
We spent a lot of time thinking about one statement that captures what we want our patients and their owners to experience every time they walk through our door.
And since we're a family-owned clinic, it's only natural we treat our patients the same way.
With respect, patience, compassion, and okay, maybe a few too many treats.
Dr. Shook began working at Whetsone Point Inner Harbor Veterinary Hospital in 2003.
In 2005, she pursued a lifelong dream when she purchased the practice and renamed it CityPets Veterinary Care & Wellness.
In your search for a veterinary facility, we believe you should expect high quality care as well as great service.
Our goal has been to assemble a veterinary health care team committed to providing exceptional client service and veterinary health care.
Our commitment to you is to continue to offer our world class service and a state of the art veterinary facility.
Your pet's annual vet check-up will include a total physical exam, with a thorough investigation of your pet's head, body and tail, and all his assorted cavities.
1. Payment is expected when services are rendered.
In order to focus on our patients' needs, customer service and minimizing costs, we do not bill.
2. We accept debit cards, credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express) checks and cash.
All cards must be signed by the owner of the card.
3. When unexpected illness strikes a pet, unexpected expense strikes as well.
CityPets Veterinary Care & Wellness understands this and is able to make some special arrangements through the CareCredit program.
Pets are life-long commitments, and keeping a pet happy, healthy, fed, and well-exercised requires time and money.
In order to pick the right pet for you, one must consider your lifestyle, living situation, and how much care you are able or willing to provide.
Some pets require very little interaction with their owners, while others need almost constant companionship!
Also, everyone in your family or who reside in your home, must be included in the decision.
You can start your search for your next pet with the Pet Selector tool below.
If you're thinking of getting a pet fish, you should know that your veterinarian has a lot of good advice about pet ownership.
Fish can be very rewarding as pets, and you just may be surprised about how much fish actually interact with their owners.
Thanks to advancements in veterinary care, today's cats can live well into their teen years.
It is not uncommon for cats to live to be 18 or even older.
However, in order for cats to live a long full life, they need proactive veterinary care to stay healthy.
