When you arrive for your appointment, please call the front desk at 719-392-4213. A veterinary technician will come out to take your pet inside for treatment. Please restrain your pet within a carrier or on a leash to ensure that it does not escape during the transfer. Welcome to Fountain Valley Animal Hospital, an AAHA Accredited facility. We have been serving southern Colorado Springs, Fountain, and Security/Widefield since 2007.
Fountain Valley is a full-service, small animal veterinary hospital with a full array of diagnostic equipment to quickly assess your pet's needs. We provide outpatient treatment and an extensive pharmacy to get your pet on the road to good health. Fountain Valley's dedicated staff is trained and ready to deal with any minor or major health issues.
Although we are equipped to deal with emergencies and complicated medical cases, we emphasize preventative medicine. The Morris Animal Foundation Golden Retriever Lifetime Study is accepting applications from humans who share their lives with Golden Retrievers.

Services
Fountain Valley Animal Clinic was established in 1986.
Originally a satellite clinic of Cheyenne Mountain Animal Hospital, doctors would rotate through providing outpatient services to their clients.
In 2007, the clinic was relocated to the current location on Main Street, and turned into a full-service small animal hospital.
The larger building and updated equipment provided the opportunity to expand the types of services offered to clients.
In December of 2011, Dr. Devin and Dr. Rachael Fitzgerald moved from the Chicago area to purchase the clinic, which now had enough business to operate with two full-time doctors.

Dr. Rachael is originally from Minnesota where she spent summers fishing and win-ters indoors!
She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire and graduated from Ross University as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2008.
She met her husband, the "other Dr. Fitzgerald", in vet school at Ross, which is lo-cated on the Caribbean island of St. Kitts.
They practiced in the Chicago area for 3 years but then de-cided to move West.
They realized their dream of owning and running a clinic together in the fall of 2011 when they purchased Fountain Valley Animal Hospital.
