Services
Western Hills Veterinary Clinic, P.A. has been in Topeka since July of 1976.
The hospital moved into a newer facility in June of 1999 about 3-miles east of its former location on Wanamaker Road.
Our new location gives us an opportunity to give hard working folks that work down town, the option to have their pet checked out while they are at work.
We feature MedRx endoscopic equipment for visualization, lavage, cleansing, cerumenolith and tumor removal, and myringotomy for middle ear infections.
Ear disease affects around 1/3 of all dogs and around 10% of all cats at some time during their lives.
These diseases can be painful and debilitating.
Endoscopic otoscopes have completely transformed the practice of otology in veterinary medicine.
An ear examination begins with a physical examination, endoscopic camera examination, microscopic cytology, or possibly an ear culture.
In your search for a veterinary facility, we believe you should expect high quality care as well as great service.
Our goal has been to assemble a veterinary health care team committed to providing exceptional client service and veterinary health care.
Our commitment to you is to continue to offer our world class service and a state of the art veterinary facility.
Your pet's annual vet check-up will include a total physical exam, with a thorough investigation of your pet's head, body and tail, and all his assorted cavities.
1. Payment is expected when services are rendered.
In order to focus on our patients' needs, customer service and minimizing costs, we do not bill.
2. We accept debit cards, credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express) checks(regular patients only) and cash.
All cards must be signed by the owner of the card.
3. When unexpected illness strikes a pet, unexpected expense strikes as well.
Western Hills Veterinary Clinic understands this and is able to make some special arrangements through the CareCredit program.
If you're thinking of getting a pet fish, you should know that your veterinarian has a lot of good advice about pet ownership.
Fish can be very rewarding as pets, and you just may be surprised about how much fish actually interact with their owners.
Thanks to advancements in veterinary care, today's cats can live well into their teen years.
It is not uncommon for cats to live to be 18 or even older.
However, in order for cats to live a long full life, they need proactive veterinary care to stay healthy.
