Spring Mills Veterinary Hospital is a full-service veterinary medical facility, located in Martinsburg, WV. The professional and courteous staff at Spring Mills Veterinary Hospital seeks to provide the best possible medical, surgical and dental care for their highly-valued patients. Please take a moment to contact us today, to learn more about our veterinary practice and to find out more information about how Spring Mills Veterinary Hospital can serve the needs of you and your cherished pet.

We also encourage you to stop by to meet the staff and take a tour of our hospital. We recommend you bring in any medical history, including vaccination history, for your pet on your first visit. At this visit, your pet will receive a complete physical examination. This will allow us to familiarize ourselves with your pet and to establish a baseline for future care.

From there, our veterinarians will work closely with you to determine a schedule for care and any necessary treatments. Our goal is to provide the best care for your pet and to help educate you in all aspects of pet health and preventative care.
Services
Our modern facility offers four spacious exam rooms, fully equipped treatment area, well stocked in-house pharmacy, surgical suite (with heated table), isolation ward, separate dog and cat wards and grooming amenities, as well as a state of the art in-house laboratory, ultrasonography equipment, and full body and dental radiography.
Sandra was born in Fort Worth, TX but has lived in a variety of places such as Iowa, Ohio, Virginia and Maryland.
She has called Falling Waters her home though, for the past 18 years.
Growing up, Sandra always had a passion for taking care of cats, dogs, turtles, goats, and horses, even helping a Golden Retriever deliver puppies.
Then in the summer of 1981, she started working for a Veterinary Hospital in Lynchburg, Virginia, and she fell in love with Veterinary Medicine!
During High School and on breaks from college Sandra gained experience working at Seven Hills Veterinary Hospital and Blue Ridge Kennels.
Congratulations on your new puppy!
Our Puppy Wellness Program is designed to ensure your puppy is strong and healthy and will help set the foundation for your puppy's long-term health.
The first two to six months are a critical period in your puppy's development.
Puppies have weaker immune systems than adults and, as a result, are more susceptible to infection from diseases and parasites.
Just as with human babies, puppies need to see their veterinarian on a more frequent schedule than do adult pets.
Does your pet wear a collar and tag?
What would happen if those were lost?
Microchipping has become a popular and safe way to provide permanent identification that cannot be lost.
At Spring Mills Vet, we use Pet Link microchips.
A microchip is a small electronic chip about the size of a grain of rice placed under your pet's skin.
It is injected easily with a needle similar to a vaccination needle.
Each microchip is identifiable by an individualized number registered in a pet tracking database service.
Keeping your pet's teeth clean and gums healthy is important to their life-long health and happiness.
Just as with humans, routine professional cleaning is important to maintaining your pet's dental health.
We also carry many products that can be used at home to help maintain your pet's oral health.
