Obesity is a common problem among pets, as it can be easy to over-feed a pet that knows how to beg.

With proper diet and exercise, all pets should be able to meet their dietary needs and be within a healthy weight range.
Pet's nutritional needs change as they enter different stages of their lives.

I've been taking my dogs there for 11 years.
It's become hard to get seen now which is frustrating but the service is still great when you do.
Fair, reasonable, caring.
This was the first time in over 30 years of being a pet owner that I felt a vet staff truly cared about my dog and all of my concerns.
We were not treated like just another patient.
Usually vet techs just spend less than 5 minutes with you and you wait 20 minutes or so waiting on the doctor.
We were seen right away, the vet tech spent over 20 minutes with us in examination and had lots of questions.

There are some tell-tale signs of an emergency, in which case you shouldn't hesitate to seek veterinary care immediately.

Dog Trauma: If your dog has experienced some sort of trauma, was hit by a car, had a big fall, or was attacked by another dog, immediate veterinary attention is needed.
Even if your dog seems fine initially, there may be some internal injuries, like a ruptured lung, that would not show symptoms right away.
