Dr. Gilbert Cintron and his identical twin brother Carlos were born in the Bronx, New York.
At the age of 5 their mother decided to move to Puerto Rico.
The inseparable twins attended school together.
Their strong love for animals began from grammar school and continued to grow until their graduation from veterinary school.
The countryside of Puerto Rico was a "rescue" haven.
The boys were always rescuing chickens and sick animals.
Home became the hospital to nurture them back to health.
Someday, the boys hoped to open a hospital of their own.
