I moved to Tampa in 1990, graduated from the SPC Vet tech program in 1992, and have worked at CCAH since 2000. I love cats and dogs equally. I like working for a small privately-owned clinic where clients become friends and patients are family. I started my career with animals at a doggy daycare as a kennel technician and fell in love with the work.
Since then, I have added positive reinforcement training and my dog walking service that I managed for a few years. Currently, I am thrilled to take the journey of kennel technician/veterinarian assistant at Carrollwood Community Animal Hospital, while I study to be a vet tech. Though rare, I like to fill my moments of free time with cooking, sewing garments, practicing yoga, further studying canine behavior, or enjoying Florida's abundance of nature.

We want you as clients to be informed as to which toad is harmful to our pet population.
Please take the time to look at the website on Bufo marinus.

Boarding is another service Carrollwood Community Animal Hospital offers.
All dogs are walked on a leash and normally are not out at the same time as other pets.
Cats are generally caged in one of our large cages while here unless an increase in boarding has limited the availability of the large cages.
You are welcome to bring anything you feel would make your pet more comfortable.
We do have blankets, towels and beds for your pets' comfort as well as bowls and buckets for food and water.
If your pet is on a special diet, we recommend that you bring their food with them.

We believe medical insurance for pets is an important part of responsible pet ownership.
It can help pet owners' budget for unexpected illnesses or injuries that their pets may face over their lifetime.
We are happy to work with any provider you may currently be insured with.
If you are not insured, we recommend that you investigate it and see if it is right for you.
We have materials available in our hospital for you to learn more about coverage options.
Although pet insurance has become an increasingly popular way to help offset the cost of veterinary care, many still find it hard to come out of pocket with the entire amount of a bill and then wait to receive a check from the insurance company.
