Services
Dr. Cheryl Coplon was born in Birmingham, AL, but grew up in Marietta, Ga.
She graduated from George Walton Comprehensive High School in Marietta and received a Bachelor of Animal Science from the University of Georgia.
She has a special interest in veterinary dentistry, emergency medicine, and parasitology.
Out of the office, Dr. Coplon is a fitness instructor at the local YMCA and is an avid long distance runner and hiker.
She also enjoys spending time with her family and friends, including her husband Jamie and their dogs Dobbie and Miles.
We are always looking for exceptionally talented and caring individuals who are as dedicated to the welfare and care of animals as we are.
If you value teamwork, honesty, and integrity, and are willing to work hard, be coached, and do what is needed to provide the best experience possible for our clients, we want to connect!
They took care of our pup since the day we brought him home until we moved too far away (8 years!) Couldn't recommend enough.
Incredibly caring and patient.
Amazing vet and the entire staff!
We recommend that your pet have a complete physical exam every six months to one year to look for early signs of disease along with vaccinations and annual screening for intestinal parasites and heartworms.
We emphasize affordable blood screening panels to ensure a pet's health.
Remember that pets age so much faster than people!
A year between physical exams in your dog is like you waiting 7 years between exams with your doctor.
A lot can change in that amount of time!
Parasites are an unnecessary nuisance and can carry serious diseases that affect your pet's overall health and longevity.
We are pleased to provide a wide range of soft-tissue and orthopedic surgical services to our patients.
These services can be simple spays and neuters to more complex orthopedic surgeries such as fractures or broken bone repair.
Our doctors are skilled in performing veterinary surgeries and make every effort possible to ensure that your pet receives the best care.
We will address any questions or concerns you may have about surgery, concerns about anesthesia, post-operative pain management, and post-operative healing and care.
Regular professional cleaning is important to maintaining your pet's teeth and therefore your pet's overall health.
Unfortunately, by the age of three, 85% of pets show signs of periodontal disease.
This is a painful condition, and can actually shorten their lifespan.
Without a proper dental plan, minor oral issues can progress into advanced and hard-to-treat illnesses as bacteria and infection on the teeth can enter the bloodstream and damage your pet's kidneys and heart valves.
Schedule an dental exam for your pet so that we can see if there are any potential issues and come up with a treatment plan.

Report
The staff at North Springs are amazing. They all clearly care for the animals and go out of their way to do whatever they need to do to help your babies feel better. We moved 35 minutes away but contrlinued to take our babies there because the staff knew what issues our babies had. When we had to let our almost 17 year old dachshund go last week,we received a sympathy card signed by everyone who had touched our sweet boy's life. I highly recommend them if you are in need of a good & compassionate vet.
