Dr. Sauer has been helping the pet population of Lee County for over 31 years.
She obtained her undergraduate degree in zoology from the University of Oklahoma in 1983.
In 1989, she then earned her degree in veterinary medicine from Oklahoma State University.
Dr. Sauer has professional affiliations with the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), the Florida Veterinary Medical Association (FVMA), and the Caloosa Veterinary Medical Society.
Dr. Sauer's passion is to educate her clients and the community about preventative and ongoing care so that they can better understand their pets' health.
Amanda has worked with Dr. Sauer in the veterinary field for over 14 years.
She understands the importance of personalized care and attention and her goal is to provide that experience through the staff of Fort Myers Veterinary Hospital.
Amanda was born and raised in Bonita Springs, Florida.
She enjoys outdoor activities with her family such as fishing, camping, and canoeing.
She provides a home to 2 dogs and 3 cats.
Pamela joined our team in 2016.
She is the first person you hear and see when you call and come into the clinic.
In addition to our full range of medical and dental health services, Fort Myers Veterinary Hospital also offers reliable boarding services for your pet.
Our facilities are air conditioned and we have separate rooms for dogs and cats.
We also provide an enclosed play area that is supervised.
We monitor the food and water intake of each pet that boards with us and can provide you with any abnormalities in behavior.
Reservations are highly recommended and should be made well in advance especially during school vacation time and holidays.
