Over my 19 years as an emergency veterinarian there is a parting statement I have heard over and over from clients."I hope we don't need to see you again." Thankfully most folks say this with a smile. Of course none of us want our pets to have an illness or injury that requires emergency care. In reality these things do occur, frequently after your family veterinarian has closed.
Hopefully there is a small comfort in knowing we are here for you if you do need us. Our caring and skilled doctors and staff will treat your pet with compassion and integrity to help your pet and you through whatever crisis may arise. In 1993, local veterinarians recognized a real need in Collier County for an after-hours emergency veterinary hospital.
The Emergency Pet Hospital of Collier County was established. The hospital has since grown, along with our community and progressed with advances in veterinary emergency care. The hospital is not intended to serve as a substitute for your family veterinarian, but rather, as an independent extension for emergency care.
