Yearly exams and preventive care can help deter many serious health conditions and provide early detection of diseases.
All surgical patients are placed on IV fluids to stabilize blood pressure during all anesthetic procedures.
Dental health is a very important part of your pet's overall health, and dental problems can cause, or be caused by, other health problems.
Your pet's teeth and gums should be checked at least once a year by your veterinarian to check for early signs of a problem and to keep your pet's mouth healthy.

We do require a deposit equal to an exam fee when scheduling your pet's first visit.
This deposit is refundable if the appointment is canceled within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time.
This policy has been established in order to provide the highest level of veterinary care to all of our patients.
By providing us notice of cancellation, we are able to accommodate other patients that are in need of an appointment.

If your pet is anxious, there are numerous supplements available over the counter that can help your pet during anxious times.
For dogs and cats, there are products such as Zylkene and Composure.
There are also calming sprays and wipes that use pheromones to calm your pet (Feliway and Adaptil).
We also offer safe prescription medications that have proven to be useful in reducing fear, anxiety and stress.
